This week’s album news brings the return of Empire Of The Sun, a taste of City & Colour’s album in the making, debuts from Jinja Safari and Owl Eyes, plus a whole heap more of announcements!

ERIC CLAPTON

Alongside his recent world tour announcement, rock ‘n roll legend Eric Clapton is set to release his 21st studio album on March 22. Three years since his last album in 2010, his new offering features two original songs amongst a collection of his childhood and present day favourites.

TRIPLE J’S TOM & ALEX

Triple j’s humour filled duo bring to you a collection of unforgettable moments in Tom & Alex – The Bits We’re Least Ashamed Of. Set for release on March 22nd, the Breakfast show hosts will make you laugh and cringe reliving segments from their morning slot, Breakfasts with Tom and Alex.

LIL WAYNE

Lil Wayne is back with a sequel for his 2010 album I’m Not A Human Being with the aptly named I’m Not A Human Being II. Weezy’s ninth studio album is set to be released on March 25th. />

WAVVES

LA punk duo Wavves will release their highly anticipated fourth studio album Afraid Of Heights next Friday Match 22nd. Take a look at their first single to be lifted from the album ‘Demon To Lean On’.

CAMPERDOWN & OUT

Aussie/NZ group Camperdown & Out’s debut offering Couldn’t Be Better is out on March 22nd via Popfrenxy Records. If you enjoy The Go-Betweens, Paul Kelly or Sunnyboys be sure to check this one out.

CITY AND COLOUR

Alexisonfire’s Dallas Green has been doing wonders with his solo project City And Colour, his latest single ‘Of Space & Time’ no exemption. Following his solo debut in 2011, a new album is finally on the way! Here’s a sneak peak.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

Justin Timberlake’s third studio album in 11 years The 20/20 Experience is now available to stream on the iTunes store and will remain available until it’s release later in the month. The album’s first single "Suit & Tie" reached the #1 spot on iTunes charts in over 30 countries.

THE CAT EMPIRE

Jazzy outfit The Cat Empire have announced the release of their fifth studio album Steal The Light. Due out on May 10th via Two Shoes Records via Inertia, the album is the band’s first fully independent worldwide release.

RON SEXSMITH

April 5th marks the release of Canadian crooner Ron Sexsmith’s latest album Forever Endeavour. The 12-track listing was recorded in 2011 at Froom's Santa Monica studio.

LADY ANTEBELLUM

Lady Antebellum’s latest album Golden is set for release on May 10th. The fourth studio album from the seven-time Grammy winning trio, follows on from their first headlining Australian tour last year.

OWL EYES

Under her moniker Owl Eyes, 22 year old songstress Brooke Addamo has announced the release of her forthcoming debut album Nightswim. Following a collection of popular EPs, finally the little lass is ready to unleash her first full length, available in stores and online on April 19th.

MIKE MARLING

Mike Marling is set to release a Nick Cave-esque album this coming April. Due out on the 8th, Grand Reveal will be Marling’s third LP.

BRUCE MATHISKE

Three decades has seen Bruce Mathiske tour across the world and record 17 studio albums. His latest offering My Life is an autobiographical release; Mathiske taking the opportunity to reflect on his life experiences thus far. My Life is out April 5th, via MGM.

SENSES FAIL

Senses Fail have announced the release of their fifth full length Renacer. It’s out on March 29th, via 3Wise Records.

THE EAGLES

History Of The Eagles is an exclusive three disc set that includes a two part documentary film: History of the Eagles Part One and History of the Eagles Part Two, as well as never-before-released footage of performances on: Eagles Live At The Capital Centre - March 1977, during their Hotel California tour. History Of The Eagles will be released on DVD and BLU-RAY April 30th.

STRICTLY BALLROOM

A unique collection of Strictly Ballroom hits has been complied and is set for release on March 19th. is a compilation of songs from their LP as well as unreleased numbers.

WAX IDOLS
